Created by Alfred Wainwright, this 192 mile route goes from St Bees in Cumbria, to Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire.
After doing the Pennine Way, and seeing the increasing popularity of long distance walking routes, Wainwright decided he could do better. And so he set off creating the Coast to Coast.
Since he published his book A Coast To Coast Walk thousands of people have walked his route, including one Julia Bradbury. All that, despite it having no official or legal status.
And in the summer of 2010 it was our turn...
Our journey is detailed in the blog posts below, and are also available in an e-book, downloadable for Amazon Kindle and in PDF. For more information, see the One Coast to Another page.
