The End

Walking away on the sand of Shanklin beach on the Isle of Wight

By all accounts this is the 200th in my series, The Weekly Photograph. And it’s also the last. At least for a while.

The first in what was then called ‘A Sunday Picture’ was published in August 2011 and I’ve been doing them – with the odd gap here and there – ever since. And now it’s time to pause.

Not because I’ve run out of photographs – far from it. Instead I’m parking the Weekly Photograph to allow me to spend the time on other ideas and content on this site, including some different ways to view the walking world using photographs.

A refocusing of effort as it were.

Maybe I’ll even use the time to do some more walking too.
