Lost on Tarn Crag

It's September 2020 and after a year full of lockdowns, cancelled holidays and just general chaos, I rather unexpectedly found myself having a week of carefree fell-walking in the Lake District.

Day one was spent near Borrowdale, the second in the wonderful Newlands. For the third, I had a lovely horseshoe walk around the highest fell in the North Western area - Grasmoor. Now though I was heading to Langdale, popping off for a cheeky fell on the way there. And that fell was Tarn Crag.

Walked 22 September 2020.

Sitting alone overlooking Easedale Tarn is Tarn Crag, a fell that offers splendid views, glorious scenery, and so much more.
