How now brown cow

With this year being a bit of a write off for many long distance walkers, I have inevitably spent much of the year looking back at what once was. And it recently dawned on me that it was six years that I set off walking the East Highland Way. Six years to the day, today.

Which means it’s six years since I saw this cow blocking the path on our first day. Six years to the day, today.

If that’s not worth celebrating, I don’t know what is.
