Chillerton Down transmitter

What was that Kate Bush song where she sang “I’m looking at that big sky”? Oh yes, it was called “The Big Sky”. Funny that.

I’m not really sure what a “big sky” is supposed to be, but in my mind it looks a bit like this. This is Chillerton Down (and it’s FM/DAB transmitter) on the Isle of Wight. You’ll find it on the Tennyson Trail should you fancy hunting for it. And whilst you’re there, have a look out for great sunsets. The island is full of them.
