Looking at the sea at Robin Hood’s Bay

Looking out to the sea from the Causeway at Robin Hood's Bay

Seeing as this month seems to have become “water” month for A Sunday Picture, I couldn’t let it pass without this picture of Robin Hood’s Bay, in North Yorkshire.

The village is the eastern end of Wainwright’s Coast to Coast walk, and a popular tourist attraction in its own right as it’s a beautiful village.

This photograph obviously doesn’t show off the village; just its causeway. And the North Sea of course. And these people, whoever they may be, looking out at the view.

Whatever is out there is a long way away. But you have to look, don’t you?

Have your say
