Due a Deuchars

Published 28 August 2011

Another Sunday, another Sunday picture. In 2009 Catherine and myself walked the West Highland Way which, inexplicably, I never blogged about.

Catherine’s often described long distance walking in Britain as a bit like being a giant pub crawl, and how true that can be.

This was our third day of walking and it had been incredibly hot. We’d done 13 miles from Rowardennan to Inverarnan and we were staying in the frankly surreal soundings of the Drovers Inn which featured stuffed animals aplenty, staff wearing kilts and a whisky selection that has hard to resist.

You can find all my photographs from the West Highland Way over on my Photos section.
